Our take on the Jackson JS Series Dinky Arch Top JS32 DKA Electric Guitar

The Jackson JS Series Dinky Arch Top JS32 DKA is a budget superstrat built for speed: poplar body with a quilt maple top, 25.5-inch scale, bolt-on maple neck and a 24-fret amaranth fingerboard. It pairs two Jackson high-output humbuckers with a Floyd Rose Licensed Jackson double-locking tremolo, so dive bombs hold tune. The arch top and quilt veneer give it a look well above its price. At $449.99 at Best Buy as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, so waiting for a sale is reasonable.

Best forMetal and hard rock players on a budgetPlayers who want a Floyd Rose-style tremoloBeginners moving up to a 24-fret guitarGigging players who want a cheap backup

Pros

24 frets and 25.5-inch scale suit lead playing
Floyd Rose Licensed tremolo stays in tune under heavy use
Quilt maple top and arch body look expensive
Thin, fast maple neck with white binding
Five color options, including Neon Orange and Pavo Purple

Cons

Poplar body and amaranth board are budget materials
Licensed Floyd Rose is fussier to restring and set up than a fixed bridge
Stock pickups are hot but lack subtlety for clean tones
No coil split or other switching beyond the 3-way blade
Setup out of the box is often rough
