How long does the battery last?

JBL rates it at 50 hours with ANC off. Expect less with noise cancelling on, roughly in the 30-hour range.

Yes. A 3.5 mm cable is included, but it is not detachable, so a damaged cable means a repair.

Can I connect two devices at once?

Yes. Bluetooth 5.3 supports multipoint, so you can switch between a phone and a laptop.

Is it good for running or the gym?

No. It has no water resistance rating and is not built for training.

How does it compare with the Sony WH-1000XM5?

The Sony has stronger ANC and a lighter build. The JBL counters with longer rated battery life and a lower price.
