Is it worth it over a floor cushion?

If you want swivel and a firm frame, yes. A plain cushion is cheaper but offers no rotation and less structure.

Will it work at a standard desk?

No. It sits near floor height, so it pairs with a low desk or a laptop on a coffee table, not a 29-inch desk.

Does it have a weight limit?

Yes, 300 lb maximum. Stay within that for the frame and swivel base to hold up.

What is the seat made of?

A leather-look cover over padding. It wipes clean but can feel warm during long sits.

Our take on the JIONJOY Ergonomic Cross-Legged Meditation & Office Chair

The JIONJOY is an armless, swivel floor chair built for cross-legged sitting, with a leather-look seat and a 300 lb weight limit. It sits low to the ground, so it suits meditation, reading or a low desk rather than a standard-height workstation.
