Questions and answers

Is the Hopson sofa worth the price?
At about $1,957 to $2,020, it sits in the mid-to-upper range for a US-made custom sofa. The Sunbrella fabric and GREENGUARD Gold certification are the main reasons to pay more than a stock retailer sofa.
How does it compare with other Joybird sofas?
The Hopson is wider than many Joybird two- and three-seat models at 84 inches, and its buttoned cushions are a styling choice rather than a comfort upgrade. Choose it if you want the mid-century look and have the floor space.
Is the Sunbrella fabric good for pets?
Sunbrella Premier is a solution-dyed acrylic that resists stains and fading, and it wipes clean more easily than woven linen. Pet claws can still snag the weave, so trim nails or use a throw on the seat.
Will it fit through my door?
The sofa is 84 inches wide, 37 inches deep and 33 inches high, so measure doorways and hallways before ordering. Joybird delivers assembled in most cases, so check the entry path, not just the room.
When is the best time to buy?
Joybird runs sales around major holidays and long weekends, and its price has recently stayed within about $63. Watch for a drop below the $1,957.00 seen on October 31, 2026.
What is included with the sofa?
You get the sofa itself with the wood legs; assembly is usually limited to attaching the legs. Cushions and upholstery come as configured, and throw pillows are not included unless ordered separately.
What do buyers say about the Joybird Hopson Mid Century Modern Sofa?
Rated 4.9 out of 5 from 40 ratings.
