Questions and answers

Is the Lewis Banks sofa good for tall people?
Yes. The 28-inch seat depth and 18-inch seat height give tall sitters room to stretch out. Shorter sitters may find the seat too deep to sit upright without a pillow behind them.
How does it compare with the Joybird Briar or Hughes sofas?
The Lewis Banks is deeper and lower than most Joybird models, with shelter arms instead of track arms. Choose it if you want a lounging sofa; pick a shallower model if you sit upright often.
Is the velvet easy to keep clean?
Velvet is plush but shows crushing and marks, so brush it with the nap and vacuum regularly. The listing names Sunbrella Premier fabric, which is more cleanable than standard velvet, so confirm the cover before ordering.
What sizes does it come in?
It is offered in four sizes, from a smaller sofa up to a large one. This listing is the 83-inch-wide version with a 75-inch seat width.
Is it GREENGUARD Gold Certified?
Yes. The sofa is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, which means it meets strict limits on volatile organic compound emissions for indoor use.
When is the best time to buy?
Joybird runs sales around major holidays and long weekends. The best new price was $1,927 at Kittle's Furniture as of November 4, 2026, so compare that against Joybird's own sale pricing before ordering.
