Our take on the Joydeco Custom Linen Look Light Filtering Curtain

The Joydeco Linen Look Light Filtering Curtain is a custom-width polyester-linen blend panel that softens daylight without blocking it fully. The standout is the 118-inch width option, which suits wide windows and sliding doors that standard 50-inch panels can't cover in one piece. It hangs as a single panel, so you order the width you need rather than pairing panels. Custom sizing means the price depends on the dimensions you choose, so compare quotes before ordering.

Best forWide windows and sliding glass doorsLiving rooms and bedrooms that need soft, filtered daylight
Renters who want a tailored fit without permanent hardware
Buyers who prefer a linen texture over smooth polyester
Pros
  • Available up to 118 inches wide, so one panel can cover a large opening
  • Linen-polyester blend gives a woven texture at a lower price than pure linen
  • Light-filtering weave keeps rooms bright while cutting glare
  • Custom sizing avoids the gap and puddling of off-the-shelf panels
  • Polyester blend resists wrinkles and holds up to washing better than pure linen
Cons
  • Not room-darkening; light sleepers will still see morning sun
  • Custom widths cost more than standard stock sizes and are usually non-returnable
  • Single-panel listing, so wide windows may need two panels for a gathered look
  • Linen-look polyester can read flatter and shinier than real linen up close
  • Rod, rings and hardware are not included

Questions and answers

Is this curtain blackout?
No. It is light-filtering, so it dims and softens daylight but does not block it. For a dark bedroom, choose a blackout lining or a blackout curtain.
How wide a window can one panel cover?
The panel goes up to 118 inches wide, enough for most sliding doors and wide picture windows in a single piece. For a gathered look, order roughly 1.5 to 2 times your window width.
Can I machine wash it?
The polyester-linen blend is generally machine washable on a gentle cycle and should be line dried or tumble dried low. Check the care label on the panel you receive before washing.
Does it come with a rod or hooks?
No. The listing is for the curtain panel only. You supply the rod and the rings or hooks that match its header style.
Are custom-size curtains returnable?
Custom-cut panels are typically final sale because they cannot be resold. Measure your window and rod height carefully, and confirm the return policy before ordering.
