Our take on the Latitude Run 100% Blackout Linen Blend Pinch Pleated Curtains

These are lined, opaque pinch-pleat curtains from Latitude Run in a linen-polyester blend, sold as a single 40-inch-wide panel with a 90-inch drop. The triple-pleat header gives a tailored, hotel-style hang, and the lining is claimed to block light and insulate well. No hardware is included, so budget for rings and a rod. No current price was supplied for this listing, so check the live price against its own history before buying.

Best forBedrooms that need full light blockingLiving rooms with tall windows and a formal lookRenters who want insulated, energy-saving window coverageBuyers who prefer a linen look without pure-linen wrinkling
Pros
  • Blackout lining blocks light and adds insulation
  • Linen-polyester blend resists creasing better than pure linen
  • Pinch pleats hang neatly and look tailored
  • Lined construction adds weight and drape
  • Solid color suits most room schemes
Cons
  • One 40-inch panel per order; wide windows need several
  • No rod, rings or hooks included
  • Not machine washable, so cleaning means professional care
  • Pinch pleats need a rod with rings, not a simple pocket rod
  • Limited size options for very tall or very wide windows

Questions and answers

Is one panel enough for a standard window?
Each panel is 40 inches wide, so a typical 60- to 72-inch window needs two panels for coverage with some fullness. For a gathered look, use two to three times the window width in panels.
What hardware do I need?
Nothing is included. You need a rod plus rings or hooks that fit a pinch-pleat header; a plain rod pocket will not give the pleated look.
Can these curtains be washed?
No. They are not machine washable, and the care guidance points to professional cleaning. Spot-clean small marks and vacuum the fabric regularly.
Do they really block all light?
The listing describes them as 100% blackout with a lining. Expect near-total darkness, though light can still enter at the sides and top unless you use a wrap-around rod.
Are they good for insulation?
The listing rates insulation as excellent, and the lined, heavy fabric helps reduce drafts and heat transfer. The effect is modest compared with dedicated thermal panels but noticeable.
When is the best time to buy?
Curtain prices often dip during seasonal home sales and holiday promotions. Check the price history on this page and buy when the current price sits near its recent low.
