It assembles without tools, measures 19 x 22 x 17 inches and weighs about 5.8 lb, and comes in barn, cottage, log cabin and Realtree Edge styles. The heated pad runs on electricity and is built to safety standards K&H says exceed UL requirements. Questions and answers

Is the K&H Outdoor Kitty House worth it?
For caretakers of outdoor or feral cats in cold climates, yes. The insulation and heated pad do what a plain plastic bin cannot, and at $56.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026 it costs less than most heated shelters.
Does it need electricity?
The included warming pad plugs into an outdoor outlet, so place the house within cord reach. The shelter itself still works as an unheated windbreak if power is not available.
How many cats fit inside?
The interior is one level at 19 x 22 x 17 inches, sized for one cat comfortably. It is listed for all sizes, but large cats will have little room to turn around.
Is it waterproof?
The polyester shell is water-resistant and weather-resistant, not fully waterproof. Under a porch roof or in a garage it holds up well; in open rain, expect some dampness over time.
What comes in the box?
The house panels, the heated warming pad and the clear door flaps. Assembly is tool-free. The K&H Lectro-Soft Outdoor Heated Bed in small also fits inside.
When is it cheapest?
Prices vary by store and season; demand rises in late fall and winter. The $56.99 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 is the lowest of the five stores listing it new, so compare against that before buying.
Where is the K&H Outdoor Kitty House cheapest?
