Our take on the KARLBY Countertop

The KARLBY is IKEA's thick oak-veneer countertop, sold in a 98-inch length and 1-1/2 inches thick. It is a popular pick for desk and kitchen builds because the thick veneer looks like solid oak and can be sanded. The best new price is $259 at ModeSens as of November 5, 2026, and only one store lists it new.
