Is the Kelty Tru.Comfort Doublewide warm enough for winter?

It is rated to 20°F, which suits three-season camping. Below that, add a liner or a pad with a high R-value.

Can two people use the zippers separately?

Yes. It has left and right zippers, so each sleeper can open their own side without disturbing the other.

How big is it when packed?

The stuff sack measures 15 x 23 inches and holds 65.8 liters, so plan on car camping rather than backpacking.

Will it fit tall sleepers?

It fits sleepers up to 78 inches, or 6 ft 6 in, and the 128-inch girth leaves room to move.

At $219.95 at Backcountry.com as of November 6, 2026, it is a fair price for a two-person synthetic bag with dual zippers. Compare against single bags plus a liner if you rarely camp as a pair.

Can it be used as a blanket?

Yes. Unzip both sides fully and it opens flat as a queen-size comforter for tent or van use.
