Is the Kelty Galactic 30 warm enough for 30°F nights?

Treat 30°F as the lower limit. Most campers stay comfortable in the 40s and above; below that, add a liner or wear a base layer.

How does it compare with a mummy bag?

It is wider and roomier at 34 inches, which suits side sleepers, but a mummy bag of similar weight traps heat more efficiently.

Can two Galactic 30 bags be zipped together?

The double zippers allow left- and right-zip bags to pair into a double bag, so check the zip side when you buy.

What comes in the box?

The bag ships with a stuff sack. No pad or liner is included.

Is the down responsibly sourced or treated?

The shell uses a C0 and PFC-free DWR finish. Kelty does not market this bag as RDS-certified, so confirm with the seller if that matters to you.
