Our take on the Kerry Yoo K71 Electric Go Kart for Kids

The Kerry Yoo K71 is a 24-volt electric go-kart for kids 6 and up, built around a 300W brushless motor and 360-degree drift capability. It has high and low speed settings, so younger or cautious drivers can start slow. At $244.14 at eBay as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what the three stores listing it new charge.

Pros
  • 24V system with a 300W brushless motor gives real speed for the size
  • 360-degree drift capability is the main draw for older kids
  • High and low speed settings let you dial back the power
  • Rated for ages 6+, so it has a longer useful life than toddler ride-ons
Cons
  • Only 39 ratings and a 3.9 average, so the track record is thin
  • Drift karts need smooth, flat pavement; grass and gravel are out

Questions and answers

Is the Kerry Yoo K71 worth it?
If your kid is 6 or older and wants a drift kart, it delivers 24 volts, a 300W brushless motor and two speed settings for about $244. Just know that the 3.9 average from 39 ratings is middling, so check the return policy before buying.
How fast does it go?
The listing does not publish a top speed. It has high and low settings, so expect the low mode to be gentle enough for newer drivers and the high mode to be the drift setting.
How long does the battery last?
Runtime and charge time are not listed. Plan on shorter sessions than a plain ride-on, since drifting under a 300W motor draws more power.
What surface does it need?
Drift karts work best on smooth, flat pavement such as a driveway or court. Grass, gravel and slopes will kill the drift and strain the motor.
What comes in the box?
The listing does not detail box contents. Expect the kart, battery and charger, but confirm with the seller before ordering if you need assembly tools or a manual.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price found is $244.14 at eBay as of November 3, 2026, with three stores selling it new. Compare all three before buying, and watch for holiday sales on ride-ons.
