Do these speakers need an amplifier?

Yes. They are passive 8-ohm speakers with no built-in amplification or wireless streaming, so they need an AV receiver or amplifier to play.

Can I stream music to them directly over Bluetooth or AirPlay?

No. The speakers have no Bluetooth, AirPlay or Spotify Connect. Streaming has to come from a receiver, streamer or amp connected to them.

What is a fair price for the pair?

The only new price listed was $474.99 at PARTS EXPRESS as of November 7, 2026. With one store pricing them new, there is little to compare against.

Are they suited for height or Atmos channels?

No. Klipsch does not list them as suited for height channels, so they fit better as surrounds or standard in-wall channels.

What comes in the box?

The listing is for a pair of two speakers. Check the listing for grilles and mounting hardware before ordering.
