Our take on the km Home Merit Okello Area Rug

The km Home Merit Okello Area Rug is a 5'3" x 7'7" indoor rug in polypropylene with a 0.43-inch pile and an abstract pattern in yellow, green and orange. It is aimed at living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and entryways, and the fiber makes it easy to vacuum and spot-clean. The best new price is $323.97 at Macy's as of November 3, 2026, which is the lowest it has been since tracking began on October 30, 2026, down from a high of $399.15 that day. Only one store currently lists it new, so there is no cross-store competition to push the price lower.

Questions and answers

Is $323.97 a good price for this rug?
It is the lowest price recorded since October 30, 2026, when it was $399.15. With only one store selling it new, there is no cheaper listing to compare against right now.
Is the km Home Merit Okello rug soft enough for a living room?
Yes. Owners describe it as very plush and soft underfoot, and the 0.43-inch pile gives it a cushioned feel. It is still a polypropylene rug, so it is firmer than a wool shag.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum regularly and have it professionally cleaned for deeper stains. Polypropylene handles spills well, but the maker does not recommend machine washing.
What size is it, and will it fit under a dining table?
It measures 5'3" by 7'7". That suits a small four-seat dining set or a seating area, but it is too small for a large sectional or a full dining room.
What is in the box?
The rug only. A rug pad is not included, and one is worth adding on hard floors to stop slipping.
Does the abstract pattern work with neutral furniture?
Yes. The yellow, green and orange pops sit on a muted base, so the rug pairs well with gray, cream and wood tones without clashing.
Where is the km Home Merit Okello Area Rug cheapest?
At Macy's, for $359.97, 80% off, as of our latest check.
Is the km Home Merit Okello Area Rug at its lowest price?
