What tools come in the Knipex Robust45 Move?

It ships with 90 Knipex tools, mostly pliers, cutters and similar hand tools, laid out in a foam insert with 147 slots. The exact list varies by set version, so check the contents before buying.

How much weight can it carry?

Knipex rates the case for a maximum payload of 35 kg, which covers the included tools plus extras. The case itself weighs 17.4 kg, so a fully loaded case is heavy to lift.

Is it carry-on size for flights?

No. At 609 x 428 x 263 mm outside, it exceeds typical carry-on limits and weighs 17.4 kg empty. It is meant for van and site transport, not air travel.

Can I use my own tools in the insert?

Yes, within limits. The 147 inserting options are cut for the included Knipex tools, so non-Knipex tools fit only where a slot matches their shape and size.

Is $561.28 a good price for it?

We see only two stores listing it new, with the best at $561.28 at Amazon as of November 8, 2026. With so few sellers there is no meaningful recent range, so compare both stores before buying.

Does the case protect tools from weather?

The polypropylene shell is impact-resistant and rated from -30°C to +80°C. Knipex does not claim a waterproof rating, so do not leave it out in heavy rain.
