Is this a real offset smoker or just a grill?

It is both. The main barrel grills over direct coals, and the attached side firebox lets you smoke with indirect heat.

How much does it cost?

The best new price is $109.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026.

How long does assembly take?

Plan on roughly an hour or more. Two people help, and the included instructions are basic.

Can I use it for low-and-slow brisket?

Yes, but expect to tend the fire. The thin steel does not hold heat like a heavy offset, so add charcoal in small amounts often.

Does it need any upgrades?

Many owners seal the lid and firebox seams with high-temp gasket and keep it covered to slow rust.

What is the cooking area?

The main grate is 22 inches wide, with the offset chamber adding extra indirect cooking space.
