Our take on the Latex for Less 3" Soft Latex Mattress Topper

A 2-inch Dunlop latex topper from Latex for Less, made with GOLS-certified organic latex and a GOTS-certified organic cotton cover. It is medium-firm, perforated for airflow, and handcrafted in California from Sri Lanka-sourced rubber. It suits sleepers who want to soften a too-firm mattress without memory foam's heat and sink. The cover is removable on some variants but fixed on others, so check before ordering.

Pros
  • GOLS organic latex and GOTS organic cotton cover
  • Perforated Dunlop latex breathes better than foam
  • Medium-firm adds cushioning without deep sink
  • Handcrafted in California
  • Available in Twin through Cal King
Cons
  • Only 2 inches thick, so it won't rescue a badly sagging mattress
  • Latex is heavy and awkward to move
  • Cover is removable only on some variants
  • Costs more than a polyfoam topper

Questions and answers

Is this topper firm or soft?
It is medium-firm. It adds surface cushioning but keeps support, so it suits back and stomach sleepers more than side sleepers who need deep pressure relief.
Will it make my mattress cooler?
Latex is more breathable than memory foam, and the latex is perforated. It helps hot sleepers, though it is not an active cooling product.
Is the cover removable?
Only on some variants. The selected variant may have a fixed cover, so confirm before buying if washing matters to you.
What sizes are available?
Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen and Cal King. The Queen measures 60 inches wide and the Cal King 84 inches long.
Is it really organic?
The latex is GOLS-certified organic and the cotton cover is GOTS-certified organic. The latex comes from a certified organic rubber plantation in Sri Lanka.
How thick is it?
2 inches. That is enough to soften a firm mattress but not enough to fix a sagging or worn one.
What do buyers say about the Latex for Less 3" Soft Latex Mattress Topper?
