Our take on the Laurel Foundry Modern Farmhouse Mooresville Upholstered Armchair with Solid Wood Legs

The Mooresville is a set of two upholstered accent armchairs from Laurel Foundry Modern Farmhouse, sold with solid wood legs and a 30-inch seat height. The frame is manufactured wood rated to 250 lb per chair, and the navy polyester upholstery comes in several fabric options. At $269.99 for the pair at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. It is a budget two-chair set for a living room, bedroom or reading corner, not a long-term heirloom piece.

Questions and answers

Is the Mooresville armchair worth it?
At $269.99 for two chairs at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, it is a reasonable value for light-use accent seating. Do not expect solid-wood construction or heavy-duty durability at this price.
Does the price include two chairs?
Yes. The set is sold as a quantity of two chairs, which works out to about $135 per chair at the $269.99 Wayfair price.
What is the weight capacity?
Each chair is rated to 250 lb. That is on the low side for an armchair, so it suits average adult use rather than heavy or shared seating.
What are the chairs made of?
The frame is manufactured wood with solid wood legs. The upholstery is polyester fabric, with navy among the available options.
How do these compare with solid-wood accent chairs?
Solid-wood chairs cost more but hold up better under daily use. The Mooresville trades that durability for a low two-chair price and a farmhouse look.
When is the best time to buy?
Wayfair runs seasonal furniture sales around major holidays and clearance events. With only one new listing, watch that price rather than expecting a store-to-store comparison.
Where is the Laurel Foundry Modern Farmhouse Mooresville Upholstered Armchair with Solid Wood Legs cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $269.99, 51% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Laurel Foundry Modern Farmhouse Mooresville Upholstered Armchair with Solid Wood Legs?
