Is the Rowenburg chair worth $549?

At $549 it sits at the low end for a swivel glider wingback from a major brand. You pay for the motion base and the shearling-look fabric rather than premium materials.

How big is it, and will it fit my room?

It measures about 36 inches wide, 31.5 inches deep and 37.25 inches tall. Leave clearance behind and beside it so the swivel and glide do not hit walls or tables.

Does it swivel, glide, or both?

Both. The metal base gives a full 360-degree swivel and a gentle gliding motion.

How do I clean faux shearling?

Vacuum it with a soft brush attachment and blot spills right away with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the fabric or scrubbing hard, which can mat the pile.

Is it comfortable for long sitting?

It has a tight attached back and seat with a curved wingback for support, which suits reading and conversation. It is not a lounger, so very long sessions may feel firm.

Our take on the Rowenburg Multi Swivel Accent Chair

The Rowenburg is a Signature Design by Ashley accent chair with a curved wingback, faux shearling upholstery and a metal base that both swivels 360 degrees and glides. It is a large single-seat chair at about 36 inches wide and 37 inches tall, so it needs real floor space. The best new price is $549 at American Furniture Warehouse as of November 4, 2026, and four stores carry it new.
