Is the LEGO Nightmare Before Christmas set worth it?

At $101.16 at MoonNSixpence Books as of November 5, 2026, it is a strong value for a 2,193-piece licensed Ideas set. Buy it if you want a display piece and the full character lineup; skip it if you mainly want a set to play with.

How does it compare with other LEGO Ideas Disney sets?

It is larger and more scene-based than most Disney Ideas sets, with three connectible builds instead of one model. The piece count is high for the price, but much of it goes into scenery rather than minifigures.

Is it suitable for kids?

LEGO lists it for ages 18 and up, and the small parts and fragile details suit older builders. Teens who are careful with display models can build it with help.

2,193 pieces for Spiral Hill and the graveyard, Jack's house and the Halloween Town Hall. It includes Jack, Sally, Santa, Lock, Shock, Barrel, Zero and a buildable two-faced Mayor.

How big is the finished model?

Jack's house measures over 10.5 in. (51 cm) wide and 10.5 in. high. Joined together, the three scenes need a wide shelf or table.

The $101.16 price at MoonNSixpence Books as of November 5, 2026 is the lowest of the five stores listing it new. Seasonal Halloween and Christmas periods are when discounts usually appear.
