Our take on the LEGO Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Building Set

This is LEGO's adult build of Jack Skellington's house from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, with 6 minifigures, The Mayor, and Zero the dog with a glowing nose. The house is scaled down dramatically and has movable details so it can be displayed for Halloween or Christmas. The best new price is $199.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026, with 6 stores selling it new. It is an 18+ collector set, so expect a display piece rather than a toy for young kids.

Questions and answers

Is the LEGO Nightmare Before Christmas set worth it?
For adult fans of the film, yes: it packs 6 minifigures, The Mayor and a glowing-nose Zero into a detailed house you can redecorate for either holiday. If you mainly want a rock-solid display piece, the reported wobbliness is the main trade-off.
How does it compare with other LEGO Disney adult sets?
It is a licensed 18+ build with a full minifigure cast and a seasonal display gimmick, which most LEGO Disney sets do not offer. The trade-off is that it is a scaled-down house, so it is more of a vignette than a large centerpiece.
What is in the box?
The box contains the building set, 6 minifigures, The Mayor and Zero the dog. Assembly is required, and the pieces are standard LEGO-compatible small bricks.
Is it suitable for children?
No. LEGO rates it 18+, and the safety warning says it is not suitable for children under 3. It is aimed at collectors and adults.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price was $199.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026, with 6 stores selling it new. LEGO sets like this often drop around Halloween and Black Friday, so compare store prices then.
Can it be displayed for both Halloween and Christmas?
Yes. Movable hidden details let you switch the house between Halloween Town and Christmas styling, which reviewers call out as a highlight.
Where is the LEGO Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Building Set cheapest?
At Target, for $199.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the LEGO Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Building Set?
6 stores we checked sell it, including StockX, Target, Bricks By Ojany, Walmart, eBay.
