It is a budget 1080p gaming tower in white, with Windows 11 Home and Wi-Fi 5. • 650W power supply leaves some headroom for upgrades
Cons
  • Ryzen 5 5500 is a budget chip on the older AM4 platform
  • B450M board limits future CPU upgrades and may need a BIOS update for newer chips

  • 35lb tower is heavy to move
  • $999 is high for this class of parts

Questions and answers

Is the Mloong Gaming PC worth $999?
At $999 it is priced above what these parts usually cost as a build. The RTX 5060 and 1TB SSD are solid, but the Ryzen 5 5500 and B450M board are entry-level. Compare against other RTX 5060 prebuilts before buying.
Can it run modern games at 1080p?
Yes. The RTX 5060 with 8GB GDDR7 is built for 1080p gaming at high settings, and the Ryzen 5 5500 will not hold it back in most titles. Expect to lower settings in the heaviest new releases.
Can I upgrade the CPU later?
Only within AMD's AM4 socket. The B450M board supports Ryzen 5000 chips like the 5700X3D or 5800X, but not newer AM5 processors. Check the board's BIOS support before swapping.
What comes in the box?
The tower with the listed parts installed and Windows 11 Home activated. A keyboard, mouse and monitor are not included, so budget for those if you have none.
Does it have Wi-Fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi 5, plus a gigabit Ethernet port. Wi-Fi 5 is fine for most home networks but slower than Wi-Fi 6 on newer routers.
When is it cheapest?
Only one new price was found: $999 at Newegg.com as of November 5, 2026. Prebuilt prices often drop around Black Friday and back-to-school sales, so watch those periods.
Where is the Mloong Gaming PC (AMD Ryzen 5 5500, RTX 5060, B450M, 1TB SSD, 16GB DDR4) cheapest?
