Is the Levoit Dual 150 worth it?

For a bedroom or desk, yes: it is compact, quiet and has three speeds. Skip it if you need to humidify a large living area or want warm mist.

How long does the 3 L tank last?

Expect roughly 10 to 20 hours depending on speed, since low output stretches a tank further. The listed 1-hour runtime is not realistic for 3 L.

How much area does it cover?

Realistically one small room, roughly 100 to 300 sq ft. The listed 1 sq ft coverage is a data error, not a real figure.

Does it work with tap water?

It can, but hard water causes white mineral dust on surfaces. Distilled water avoids that and reduces cleaning.

The humidifier, its tank and base, and a manual. Check the listing for any included cleaning brush or filter.

Small Levoit humidifiers tend to drop during fall and winter cold-and-flu season sales and around Black Friday. Compare store prices before buying.

Our take on the Levoit 3L

The Levoit Dual 150 is a small cool-mist ultrasonic humidifier with a 0.79-gallon (3 L) tank, three mist speeds and a claimed 1 dB noise rating. It is built for a nightstand, desk or nursery rather than a whole room, and its compact 7.2 x 8.1 x 11.5 in body weighs about 3 lb. The listed coverage and runtime figures (1 sq ft, 1 hour) are clearly wrong for a 3 L tank, so treat them as unreliable. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison before buying.
