Questions and answers

Is the LivePure 1.2 G worth it?
At $49.99 at Lowe's as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to add moisture to one room with no filter costs. Expect to refill the small tank often.
How often do I need to refill it?
The tank holds 1.2 L, so on a middle or high setting expect to refill roughly once a day. Sleep mode and low speed stretch it further.
Does it work with Alexa?
No. The listing notes Alexa support but also states no app or voice control, so treat it as a manual unit with buttons and a humidistat.
What size room does it cover?
LivePure rates it for up to 431 sq. ft, which fits a bedroom, office or small living room. Larger open spaces will need more than one unit.
Do I need to buy filters?
No. It is filter-free, so the only running cost is water and electricity. Clean the tank regularly to prevent mineral buildup and odor.
When is it cheapest?
Small humidifiers like this usually drop during pre-winter sales and after the heating season. The current $49.99 at Lowe's is the lowest of the five stores listing it new.
