Our take on the LG 65 Class UA7700 Series 4K UHD Smart TV

The LG UA7700 is a 65-inch 4K UHD smart TV from LG's 2025 lineup, running webOS. It is an entry-level set: 4K resolution and LG's smart platform, without the mini-LED or OLED panels of LG's higher lines. At $396.99 at Sam's Club as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a 65-inch 4K TV costs, and only one store is listed at that price.

Best forShoppers who want the biggest screen for under $400Living rooms and casual streamingBuyers who want LG's webOS interface on a budgetSecondary rooms or rentals
Pros
  • 65-inch 4K panel at a budget price
  • webOS smart platform with the major streaming apps
  • LG brand and support network
  • Simple setup for a secondary TV
Cons
  • Entry-level panel: no mini-LED or local dimming for deep blacks
  • Basic 60Hz-class motion handling, not a pick for serious gaming
  • Built-in sound is modest; a soundbar helps
  • Peak brightness is limited for bright, sunlit rooms

Questions and answers

Is the LG UA7700 worth it at $396.99?
For a 65-inch 4K TV, $396.99 at Sam's Club as of November 7, 2026 is a low price. It suits casual viewing; if you want deep blacks or gaming features, spend more on a mini-LED or OLED set.
Does it have local dimming or a high refresh rate?
No. The UA7700 is an entry-level set without local dimming, and it is not aimed at 120Hz gaming. Look at LG's QNED or OLED lines for those.
What smart platform does it use?
webOS, LG's own smart TV system, with the major streaming apps and the LG remote. It is the same platform used across LG's 2025 TVs.
What size is it and what is in the box?
It is a 65-inch (64.5-inch class) 4K TV. The box includes the TV, stand, remote and power cable; check the listing for the exact accessories.
When is it cheapest?
Big TV discounts cluster around Black Friday and the Super Bowl. Track the price history here rather than assuming one store's price is the floor.
Where is the LG 65 Class UA7700 Series 4K UHD Smart TV cheapest?
At Sam's Club, for $396.99, as of our latest check.
