Is the Samsung U7900F a good TV for the price?

At $327.99 for 65 inches, it is one of the cheapest ways to get a big 4K screen. Expect a solid picture in bright rooms, but not deep blacks or high refresh gaming.

Does the U7900F run Google TV or Tizen?

It runs Google TV, not Samsung's Tizen. You get the Google Play Store, Chromecast-style casting and Google Assistant, but not Samsung's own app layout.

Is 60Hz enough for gaming on this TV?

It is fine for casual console play at 60 frames per second. It lacks 120Hz and variable refresh rate, so serious gamers should look at a higher-tier set.

Do I need a soundbar with this TV?

The built-in speakers are basic. Dolby Atmos support helps only if you add a compatible soundbar or system, which most buyers should plan for.

When is the best time to buy the U7900F?

Entry-level sets like this usually drop around Black Friday and Super Bowl season. With only one store listing it new as of November 7, 2026, compare against other 65-inch 4K models before buying.
