The LG G3 is LG's 2023 flagship OLED, a 4K panel with the a9 Gen6 processor, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The 83-inch version is the largest size, and unlike the smaller G3 sizes it gets a 30% brightness boost over LG's B3 OLEDs rather than 70%. It is designed to hang flush on the wall with the included bracket, and it shows art or photos when idle. The latest best price is $3,996.99 at Amazon as of November 3, well below its recent range of about $4,500 to $5,300.
Lowest price we've seen: $6,072.16 on Nov 3 at Sears. Tracked across 1 store since Nov 3.
Owners and reviewers rate the G3 highly for picture quality, with the 83-inch earning 4.6 out of 5 from 381 ratings. Most praise the contrast, color and flush wall look; the main complaints are brightness in sunlit rooms and the wall-mount-only design.
The LG OLED evo G-Series comes loaded with the a9 AI Processor Gen6 for even better picture and performance. The Brightness Booster Max produces up to 70% brighter images,* for luminous, high-contrast picture quality, even in well-lit rooms as you hang it like a picture on the wall with the included wall bracket that creates a flush mount.** When you're not watching, you can display paintings, photos and other content to blend the LG OLED evo G3 into your surroundings. Experience less searching and more streaming, thanks to the next generation of AI technology from LG webOS23. Every LG OLED comes loaded with Dolby Vision™ for extraordinary color, contrast and brightness, plus Dolby Atmos®**** for wrap-around sound. *Brightness Booster Max is only available on G3 models. Based on LG internal testing: 55/65/77" LG OLED evo G3 models are 70% brighter than non-OLED evo B3 models. The 83" LG OLED evo G3 model is 30% brighter than non-OLED evo B3 models. **Depending on installation environment, there may be a slight gap between the TV and the wall. Installation requirements vary. See installation guide for details. ****Dolby, Dolby Atmos and the double-D symbol are registered trademarks of Dolby Laboratories.
