Is the 97-inch G4 worth it over the 83-inch?

Only if your room seats viewers far enough back to justify the extra size. The 83-inch uses the same panel technology and costs far less, so the 97-inch is mainly for dedicated theaters.

How is the G4 different from the G3?

The G4 adds the Micro Lens Array panel for higher brightness and a newer processor. Gaming features like 120 Hz and HDMI 2.1 were already on the G3.

Does it come with a stand?

The G4 is a gallery series set and typically ships without a stand; LG sells one separately. Plan on wall mounting or buying the stand.

Is OLED burn-in a concern on a TV this expensive?

It can happen with static logos, tickers or game HUDs left on for long periods. Vary content and use the screen-shift and logo-dimming settings.

When is the best time to buy?

The only recorded price is $28,000 as of October 31, 2026. Large OLEDs usually see discounts around major sales events and when the next model year is announced.

Our take on the LG 97-inch OLED evo G4 4K Smart TV

The LG G4 is LG's flagship OLED evo TV, sold here in 77-, 83- and 97-inch sizes. It uses a Micro Lens Array panel for higher brightness than earlier OLEDs, runs at 120 Hz with HDMI 2.1 ports for gaming, and supports Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The 97-inch model is a halo set for large rooms and home theaters. The only recorded price is $28,000 at an unspecified store as of October 31, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare against.
