Questions and answers

Is the LifeSmart LifePro worth it?
If you want a plug-in fireplace for ambiance and supplemental heat in one room, it is a reasonable buy at $199.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026. It will not replace central heat.
How much space will 1500W and 5300 BTU heat?
Expect meaningful warmth in a room up to roughly 400 square feet with average insulation. Larger or drafty rooms will feel the heat only near the unit.
Does it need a special outlet?
It runs on standard 120V household current but pulls about 12.5 amps at full power. Use a dedicated circuit; sharing one with a space heater or microwave can trip the breaker.
Can the flames run without heat?
Yes. The LED flame effect works independently of the heater, so you can use it for ambiance in warmer months.
What comes in the box?
The heater, a remote control and the stand or mounting hardware for freestanding setup. Batteries for the remote are often not included.
When is it cheapest?
Electric fireplaces usually discount in late fall and around Black Friday. The current best new price is $199.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026; check the price history before buying.
