Our take on the Lifesmart Serenitouch 2D Zero Gravity Massage Chair

The Lifesmart Serenitouch is a full-body massage chair with a 2D roller mechanism and a zero-gravity recline that tilts you back to take weight off the spine. It is upholstered in black faux leather and aimed at home users who want a recliner-style chair without the price of a premium brand. The best new price is $799.99 at BJ's Wholesale Club as of November 4, 2026, and it is the only new listing tracked, so there is little price history to compare against. At that price it sits well below the $2,000-plus chairs from brands like Osaki and Kahuna.

Best forBuyers who want a zero-gravity massage chair under $1,000Home office and living room usePeople with back and shoulder tension who want daily massageShoppers who prefer a recliner-style chair over a massage pad
Pros
  • Zero-gravity recline takes pressure off the lower back
  • 2D rollers cover the back rather than a few fixed nodes
  • Full-body airbag massage for arms, legs and feet
  • Faux leather is easy to wipe clean
  • Price is low for a zero-gravity chair
Cons
  • 2D rollers do not do the 3D depth or body-scan mapping of premium chairs
  • No heat function listed
  • Faux leather can feel warm and may crack over years
  • One store carries it, so price competition is limited
  • Heavy and bulky; needs space and two people to move

Questions and answers

Is the Lifesmart Serenitouch worth it?
At $799.99 at BJ's Wholesale Club as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest zero-gravity massage chairs you can buy new. It suits relaxation and light back relief, but not deep-tissue or medical massage.
How is it different from a 3D massage chair?
2D rollers move up and down and side to side but do not push in and out, so depth is fixed. 3D chairs add adjustable intensity and often body scanning, at two to three times the price.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. It ships in a large box and the backrest and base typically need to be joined, which takes two people. Check the doorway width before ordering.
What is the weight limit?
Lifesmart lists a user weight capacity for this model; confirm it on the product page before buying, since oversized users may exceed it.
When is it cheapest?
BJ's Wholesale Club is the only new listing tracked, at $799.99 as of November 4, 2026. Warehouse-club pricing and seasonal sales are the likeliest times for a lower price.
Where is the Lifesmart Serenitouch 2D Zero Gravity Massage Chair cheapest?
At BJ's Wholesale Club, for $799.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Lifesmart Serenitouch 2D Zero Gravity Massage Chair?
Rated 4.3 out of 5 from 34 ratings.
