Is this a direct replacement for my Lippert slide cylinder?

It is built for Lippert slide systems with a 1-1/2-inch bore and 24-inch stroke. Match the bore, stroke and pin size to the cylinder you are removing before ordering.

How do I know if I need the 24-inch stroke version?

Measure the exposed rod travel on your old cylinder, not the overall length. A 39-inch overall length with a 24-inch stroke fits slides that extend about two feet.

Can I install it myself?

Yes. It bolts on with no welding, but you will need to bleed the hydraulic line and top off fluid afterward. Check for leaks at both fittings before running the slide.

Why does it come as a pack of two?

Slide rooms typically use a pair of synchronized cylinders. Replacing both at once keeps the slide moving evenly and avoids a second failure soon after.

Is it worth the price?

At $369.51 at Lowe's as of November 4, 2026, it is a specialized part with one new listing, so there is little price competition. Compare against a shop repair quote, which usually adds labor on top.
