Our take on the Makita DC18RE 18V Universal Charger

The Makita DC18RE is a corded rapid charger that takes both Makita 18V LXT slide batteries and 12V Max CXT packs, so one charger covers two tool systems. The best new price is $140.97 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no recent price range to compare against.
