The Marcy Smith Cage MWM-988 is a home gym that combines a Smith machine bar, adjustable safety catches, a cable system and a multi-station press arm in one steel frame. It supports up to 300 lbs on the weight bar and 600 lbs total on the bench, including the user, so it suits light-to-moderate lifting rather than heavy powerlifting. The cage is large: 85 inches tall and 79 inches wide, so it needs a dedicated room with high ceilings. At $699.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range across the three stores that list it new.
