Is the Marsail NS1 set worth it?

It bundles an adjustable base and a 14-inch mattress in one purchase, which saves shopping separately. The 1-year warranty is short for this category, so weigh that against the price you find.

How long does the mattress take to expand?

Marsail says about 72 hours for the mattress to reach full thickness. Sleep on it sooner if you like, but expect it to feel firmer and thinner at first.

Can two people adjust the bed separately?

No. The queen base has one motor set, so the head and leg positions apply to the whole bed. Couples who want independent positions need a split-king design.

What comes in the box?

You get the metal adjustable base, the 14-inch queen mattress and the hardware needed for assembly. Assembly is listed at under three minutes, though the 124 lbs total means you will want help.

How does the massage feature work?

It is a vibration massage with soft, moderate and strong settings, controlled from the base. It is meant for relaxation, not therapeutic deep-tissue massage.

When is the price lowest?

Adjustable bed sets typically drop during holiday sales and mattress-event periods. Track the price history here and buy when it sits near the low end of its recent range.

The Marsail NS1 is a queen adjustable bed set that pairs a metal motorized base with a 14-inch three-layer mattress.
