Is the Amerisleep AS3 worth it?

It is a strong pick if you want a medium all-foam bed with cooling and no fiberglass. Compare its live price with hybrid rivals before deciding, since it is a premium-priced foam mattress.

It is a medium feel, roughly a 5 to 6 out of 10. Side sleepers and average-weight back sleepers usually find it balanced; heavier stomach sleepers may want the firmer AS2 or a hybrid.

Does the AS3 sleep hot?

Owners generally report it sleeps cooler than older memory foam. The Refresh cover and breathable Bio-Pur foam help, though a hot room still matters more than the mattress.

What sizes and bases does it work with?

It comes in standard sizes up to California King and works on adjustable bases, slatted frames and box springs. No foundation is included in the box.

Just the mattress, compressed and vacuum-sealed. You need your own frame or foundation, and the bed needs time to expand after unboxing.

When is the AS3 cheapest?

Amerisleep discounts most around major holidays and Memorial Day, Labor Day and Black Friday sales. Check the price history here to see whether the current price is near its low.
