The Mercury Row Nia is a velvet sleeper sofa that converts into a full-size bed, with a wood frame, tufted seat and split pillow back. At 81.5 inches long and 34 inches deep, it seats three and fits most living rooms without dominating them. It holds 4.2 out of 5 from about 4,600 ratings, so most owners are satisfied but a notable share report problems. It is a budget-priced sleeper, and the velvet and tufting are the main draws at that price.

Owners like the look and the sofa-to-bed conversion for the money, and many call the velvet soft and the tufting attractive. Complaints center on the thin sleeper mattress, cushions losing shape, and assembly or durability issues.
