Do I need a box spring with this bed?

No. The slat kit is included, so a queen mattress sits directly on the slats.

Is the mattress included?

No. It is sold as a frame only, so budget for a queen mattress separately.

How much clearance do the drawers need?

Leave open floor beside the bed so the drawers can slide out fully. Measure your room before ordering.

What size mattress fits?

A standard queen mattress. The frame is built for queen size only.

Is it hard to assemble?

Expect a couple of hours. A wood frame with drawers has more parts than a simple platform bed, so two people help.
