Is this kit worth it over buying the tools separately?

A combo kit usually costs less than buying both tools, two batteries and a charger separately. It makes the most sense if you need both tools and don't already own M12 batteries.

How does it compare with Milwaukee's 18 V Fuel tools?

The 12 V tools are smaller and lighter but deliver less power. Choose 18 V for heavy drilling, driving long screws or cutting; choose this kit for light to medium work in tight spaces.

How long do the batteries last?

Runtime depends on the tool and task, but two included batteries let you keep working while one charges. The batteries carry a 2-year warranty.

What comes in the box?

The kit includes two 12 V tools, two lithium-ion batteries and a Packout case. Check the specific listing for whether a charger is included, since kit contents vary.

Will these tools fit other Milwaukee batteries?

Yes, the tools use Milwaukee's M12 battery platform, so any M12 battery works. They are not compatible with M18 batteries.

When is the best time to buy?

Milwaukee kits often drop during holiday sales and store promotions. Watch the price history and buy when it falls below the recent average.
