Our take on the Milwaukee M12 2-Tool Combo Kit: Circular Saw and Inflator

This Milwaukee combo pairs the M12 FUEL 5-3/8 in. brushless circular saw with the M12 inflator, both running on the same 12V Li-Ion battery platform. The saw is a compact, one-handed trim and sheet-goods cutter, while the inflator handles tires, bike tubes and sports balls with a digital gauge and auto shut-off. It is aimed at people already in the M12 system who want two useful tools without buying into a bigger voltage line.

Best forM12 owners adding a saw and inflator
Trim carpenters and remodelers cutting sheet goods
Homeowners and drivers who top up tires regularly
Small-job users who want light, one-hand tools
Pros
  • Shared 12V battery across both tools
  • Brushless FUEL saw motor with good power for its size
  • Compact saw cuts one-handed in tight spots
  • Inflator has a digital gauge and auto shut-off
  • Two tools cover cutting and tire inflation in one kit
Cons
  • 5-3/8 in. blade limits depth of cut on thick lumber
  • 12V platform struggles with long, heavy cuts
  • Inflator is slow on large truck tires
  • Kit battery capacity may be modest for sustained saw use

What reviewers say

Owners rate the kit highly, with the saw praised as a handy trim tool and the inflator as a reliable set-and-forget tire filler. Most criticism centers on the saw's limited cut depth and the inflator's speed on big tires.

Pros
  • Saw is light and easy to control one-handed
  • Inflator gauge is accurate and shut-off works
  • Batteries and charger fit the wider M12 line
  • Good value versus buying the tools separately
Cons
  • Saw bogs down in thick or wet lumber
  • Inflator takes a while on large tires
  • Blade size limits cross-cutting wide stock

Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it over buying the tools separately?
Usually yes if you need both. Combo kits typically cost less than the two tools plus a battery and charger bought individually, and both share the same M12 batteries.
How deep can the circular saw cut?
The 5-3/8 in. blade gives roughly 1-5/8 in. depth at 90 degrees, enough for 1x lumber, plywood and trim but not for 2x stock in one pass.
Can the inflator fill car and truck tires?
Yes, it handles car tires and most light-truck tires, though large truck tires take longer. Set the target pressure and it shuts off automatically.
What batteries does the kit use?
It uses Milwaukee M12 12V Li-Ion batteries, including the 48-11-2450 pack, and works with any M12 battery you already own.
What is in the box?
The kit includes the M12 FUEL circular saw, the M12 inflator, at least one M12 battery, a charger and a blade. Check the listing for the exact battery count.
When is the price lowest?
Milwaukee combo kits tend to drop during holiday sales and store-wide tool events. Watch the price history here for the recent low before buying.
What do buyers say about the Milwaukee M12 2-Tool Combo Kit: Circular Saw and Inflator?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 45 ratings.
