Is this kit worth $499.00?

Only if you need both tools and already use M12 batteries. The sander alone is cheaper, and the grease gun is a separate cost you may not need. At $499.00 from a single store as of November 3, 2026, there is no discount to chase.

How does it compare to a corded orbital sander?

A corded 5-inch or 6-inch sander has more power and runs all day without batteries. The M12 FUEL is for finish work and spots without an outlet. For stripping large surfaces, corded is the better tool.

What comes in the box?

The M12 FUEL 6-inch random orbital sander, two M12 batteries, a charger, and the M12 grease gun. Check the listing for whether sanding discs and a dust bag or hose adapter are included.

What size sanding discs does it take?

6-inch hook-and-loop discs with a 6-hole or 8-hole pattern. Buy a supply with the tool, since 6-inch discs are stocked less widely than 5-inch.

Can I use my existing M12 batteries?

Yes. Any M12 battery fits, though the kit already includes two. Higher-capacity M12 packs give longer runtime under load.

Milwaukee kits usually drop during holiday and spring tool events. With one store listing it as of November 3, 2026, watch for a second seller or a bundle promotion before buying.
