Is the Milwaukee M18 FUEL SAWZALL worth it over the brushed version?

Yes for regular use. The FUEL brushless motor cuts faster and runs longer per charge, and REDLINK PLUS adds protection. The brushed model is cheaper but slower and less efficient.

One M18 FUEL SAWZALL (2821-20), two M18 REDLITHIUM XC5.0 batteries (48-11-1850) and one M18/M12 multi-voltage charger (48-59-1812). Blades and a case are not included.

Does it work with other M18 batteries?

Yes. It is compatible with all M18 batteries and M18 chargers, so smaller CP packs work for light cuts and High Output packs give more runtime.

How long do the two XC5.0 batteries last?

Each 5.0Ah pack gives roughly 5.0 amp-hours of runtime, enough for most light-to-medium cutting sessions. Two packs let you keep working while one charges.
