Is $1,699 a good price for this dresser?

It is the only new price listed, $1,699 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Solid reclaimed wood with soft-close, felt-lined drawers generally costs more than veneer dressers of the same size.

How much assembly does it need?

The listing says customer assembly is required. Expect to attach legs, handles and possibly drawer fronts, so plan for a helper given the 127 lb weight.

What are the exact dimensions?

The listing gives two sets of figures: 59.25 inches wide, 19 inches deep and 31.38 inches tall, and 60 inches wide, 19 inches deep and 38 inches tall. Measure your space against the taller figure before buying.

Do the drawers close softly?

Yes. The drawers use soft/self-close ball-bearing glides and have felt liners, with about 16 inches of interior depth in the main drawers.

Is the finish the same on every unit?

No. It is a distressed finish on reclaimed wood, so the honey tone and grain will vary from one dresser to the next.
