Do I need a box spring with the Harlow king frame?

No. The poplar wood slat system supports memory foam, innerspring, latex, and hybrid mattresses directly.

Does it come with a headboard?

No. It is sold as a headboard-free platform bed, but it is compatible with many king headboards if you add one.

How much weight does it hold?

Modway rates the frame at 800 lbs, with a reinforced center beam and support legs.

How much assembly is required?

Assembly is required. Expect to attach the rails, slats, center beam, and legs; two people make it quicker.

What is the under-bed clearance?

The floor-to-frame height is 6 inches, so low storage bins fit but taller ones will not.

Is the velvet easy to clean?

Modway calls it stain-resistant performance velvet. Spot clean spills promptly; owners say marks can linger if left.
