Our take on the Momeni Willow 4 Rug

The Momeni Willow 4 is a hand-woven 100% wool area rug in a 6'3" x 9' rectangle, styled transitional with a low 0.25-inch flat-woven pile. It has no backing, so it needs a pad and works best indoors in bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways or mudrooms. At $3,770 at Forom Shop as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. This is a premium hand-woven wool piece, not a budget rug.

Pros
  • 100% wool is naturally stain-resistant and durable
  • Low 0.25-inch pile is easy to vacuum and hard for pets to snag
  • Hand-woven construction gives a tighter, more even weave than machine-made rugs
  • No backing keeps it flexible and easy to lay flat
  • Transitional pattern suits both traditional and modern rooms
Cons
  • $3,770 is a high price for a 6'3" x 9' rug
  • No backing means you must buy a separate rug pad
  • Not machine washable; spills need spot cleaning
  • Wool can shed and pilling is common in the first months
  • Only one store lists a new price, so comparison shopping is limited

Questions and answers

Is the Momeni Willow 4 rug worth $3,770?
It is a hand-woven 100% wool rug, so the price reflects labor and material rather than size alone. If you want a durable, low-pile wool rug for a high-traffic room, it can justify the cost; if you want a budget rug, it does not.
Does this rug need a rug pad?
Yes. It has no backing, so a pad keeps it from sliding on hardwood or tile and adds cushioning underfoot. A low-profile pad works best with the 0.25-inch pile.
Is the Willow 4 rug good for homes with pets?
The tight flat-woven pile resists snagging from claws and is easy to vacuum. Wool is naturally stain-resistant, but accidents should be blotted quickly since the rug is not machine washable.
What size is the Momeni Willow 4 rug?
It measures 6'3" x 9' in a rectangular shape. That fits under a dining table for six or as a living room anchor in front of a sofa.
Can I machine wash the Willow 4 rug?
No. It is 100% wool and not machine washable. Vacuum regularly and spot clean with a wool-safe cleaner; for deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
When is the best time to buy this rug?
Only one store, Forom Shop, listed a new price of $3,770 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no price history to time a discount against. Watch for seasonal rug sales and compare against other Momeni Willow sizes.
Where is the Momeni Willow 4 Rug cheapest?
At Forom Shop, for $3,770.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Momeni Willow 4 Rug?
Rated 4.4 out of 5 from 16 ratings.
Where can I buy the Momeni Willow 4 Rug?
9 stores we checked sell it, including Forom Shop, Daniel House Club, English Elm, LuxeDecor, NFM.
