Our take on the Momentous Creatine Monohydrate Powder, 5g per Serving, Unflavored

Momentous Creatine Monohydrate is an unflavored creatine powder dosed at 5 g per serving, the standard daily amount studied for strength and muscle gain. It is vegan, dairy-free and has no added sugar, so it mixes into water, juice or a protein shake without changing the taste much. Creatine monohydrate is the most researched form, and Momentous sells it as a single-ingredient product rather than a blend. It suits lifters and athletes who want a plain, third-party-tested creatine without flavoring or extras.

Questions and answers

Is Momentous creatine worth it over cheaper creatine?
The active ingredient is the same creatine monohydrate sold in bulk for less. You pay extra for the brand's testing and sourcing. If certification matters to you, it is reasonable; if not, a cheaper monohydrate works the same.
How much should I take per day?
One 5 g serving a day is the standard maintenance dose. A loading phase uses about 20 g a day split into four doses for five to seven days, but it is optional.
Does it need to be cycled?
No. Creatine monohydrate is taken continuously, and muscle creatine levels fall back to baseline within weeks if you stop.
Can I mix it with a protein shake?
Yes. It is unflavored and dissolves in water, juice or a shake. Stir or shake well, since creatine can settle.
Is it vegan and dairy-free?
Yes. Momentous lists this creatine as vegan and dairy-free, with no added sugar.
When is the best time to take it?
Timing matters little as long as you take it daily. Many people take it post-workout with a meal or shake.
