Our take on the Morismos Big Plush Eyes Sea Turtle 33inch Stuffed Animal

The Morismos Big Plush Eyes Sea Turtle is a 33-inch stuffed sea turtle with plush fabric and PP cotton filling, weighing about 4 lb. Its lock-washer eyes and nose are a sturdier choice than glued-on parts for a toy aimed at kids 3 and up. It is built for cuddling and snuggling rather than display. No current price was provided, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is it worth it?
At 4.8 out of 5 from 32 ratings, owners largely feel it delivers a big, soft plush for the money. Compare its current price with its recent range before deciding.
How big is it really?
It measures 33 inches long, with a height and width of about 10 inches each. That is roughly the length of a small child's torso, so plan space for it.
Is it safe for a 2-year-old?
No. It is rated for ages 3 and up, and the lock-washer eyes and nose, while secure, are still small hard parts.
Can it go in the washing machine?
Spot clean and surface wash is the safer route for a 4 lb PP-cotton-filled plush. A machine wash risks clumping the filling and matting the plush.
What comes in the box?
The turtle itself. It ships compressed, so let it sit out for a day or two to regain its full shape.
When is it cheapest?
Plush toys like this usually dip around Black Friday, Christmas and Valentine's Day sales. Check the price history to see whether the current price is near its low.
