Our take on the Mother Women's The Lemon Twist Jeans

Mother's The Lemon Twist is a high-rise, rigid jean with a 12-inch rise, 32-inch inseam and a wide 26-inch leg opening. The fabric is a 59% cotton, 41% lyocell blend, so it holds its shape but drapes softer than all-cotton denim. The best new price is $238 at nordstrom.com as of November 5, 2026, and only two stores list it new. Mother jeans rarely discount deeply, so that price sits near the top of its recent range rather than below it.

Best forShoppers who want a high-rise wide-leg silhouetteBuyers who prefer rigid denim over stretchTaller wearers, given the 32-inch inseamPeople building a small, premium denim rotation
Pros
  • 12-inch rise sits high and stays put
  • Rigid cotton-lyocell blend holds shape and drapes well
  • Wide 26-inch leg opening gives a clean, roomy line
  • Button fly with zip is sturdy and classic
  • Lyocell adds softness and breathability over pure cotton
Cons
  • $238 is a premium price for one pair of jeans
  • Rigid denim has little give and needs break-in
  • 32-inch inseam runs long for shorter wearers
  • Only two stores carry it new, so size options are thin
  • Limited markdown history means little chance of a deal

Questions and answers

Is $238 a good price for these jeans?
It is the best new price found, at nordstrom.com as of November 5, 2026. Mother denim rarely drops far below full price, so expect little savings unless a seasonal sale appears.
How does the rigid fit compare to stretch Mother jeans?
Rigid denim has almost no give, so it feels snug at first and relaxes with wear. If you want comfort from day one, a stretch Mother style suits you better.
Will the 32-inch inseam work for me?
It suits taller wearers and anyone wanting a full-length wide leg. Shorter shoppers will likely need hemming, which alters the 26-inch leg opening.
What is the fabric like?
It is 59% cotton and 41% lyocell, a blend that is softer and more breathable than all-cotton denim while still holding its shape.
What size should I order?
Rigid jeans tend to run true to size but feel tight at first. If you are between sizes or prefer a relaxed fit, consider sizing up.
When is it cheapest?
Mother markdowns cluster around end-of-season sales. With only two stores listing it new, watch both for price cuts rather than expecting a routine discount.
Where is the Mother Women's The Lemon Twist Jeans cheapest?
At nordstrom.com, for $238.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Mother Women's The Lemon Twist Jeans?
2 stores we checked sell it, including nordstrom.com, Amazon.
