Our take on the National Tree Company 7 ft Pre-Lit Conger Pine Pencil

The National Tree Company 7 ft Pre-Lit Conger Pine Pencil is a slim, 33-inch-wide artificial tree with built-in lights, made for tight spaces where a full-width tree won't fit. Its mix of polyethylene, PVC and polypropylene branches is designed to look fuller than a flat pencil tree. The best new price is $679.99 at Kohl's as of November 8, 2026, and only one store currently lists it new.

Questions and answers

Is $679.99 a good price for this tree?
It is the only new price listed, $679.99 at Kohl's as of November 8, 2026. With one seller there is no competing price to compare against, so watch for seasonal markdowns.
How wide is it?
It is 33 inches wide at the base, which is narrow for a 7 ft tree. Measure your space before buying, since a stand and skirt add a few inches.
Does it come with lights?
Yes. It is pre-lit, so lights are built into the branches. Check the listing for the light count and whether the lights are LED or incandescent.
Is it real or artificial?
It is artificial, made from polyethylene, PVC and polypropylene. The mixed materials are meant to give the branches a more natural look.
Who is it best for?
Shoppers with limited floor space who still want a 7 ft tree. It suits apartments, hallways and corners where a full-width tree would block the room.
Where is the National Tree Company 7 ft Pre-Lit Conger Pine Pencil cheapest?
At Kohl's, for $679.99, as of our latest check.
