Is the Navee V40n worth it for daily commuting?

For short-to-medium city commutes with some hills, yes. The 700W motor and 10-inch tires make it comfortable, and it folds for transit. If your round trip is near 25 miles, plan for charging at work.

How fast does the V40n go and how far on a charge?

Navee rates the range at 25 miles. Real range drops with rider weight, hills, speed and cold weather. Expect noticeably less if you ride near top speed.

Navee lists an 18% max grade. That covers most city inclines, but steep or long climbs will drain the battery faster and slow the scooter.

Does it have a place for an AirTag?

Yes. There is a hidden AirTag slot in the frame, so you can track the scooter if it is moved without you.

What tires does it use?

10-inch pneumatic tires. They absorb bumps better than solid tires but can puncture, so carry a patch kit or spare tube.

When is the best time to buy?

Scooter prices tend to dip during spring sales and Black Friday. Check the price history on this page before buying.

Our take on the Navee V40n Foldable Electric Scooter

The Navee V40n is a foldable electric scooter for urban commuting, with a 700W peak motor, 10-inch pneumatic tires and a rated 25-mile range. It climbs grades up to 18% and has a suspended 3.5-inch display plus a hidden AirTag slot for tracking. Dual brakes handle stopping. It is a mid-tier commuter scooter rather than a performance model.
