Our take on the NEEWER LS-29 PRO 8mm Phone Fisheye Lens with Lens Clip

The NEEWER LS-29 PRO is a clip-on 8mm fisheye lens for phones, giving a 220-degree field of view that wraps scenes into a circular image. It uses optical glass with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings and a 17mm thread mount, so it also screws onto NEEWER phone cages. At 62 g it adds little bulk. The best new price is $50.07 at B&H Photo-Video-Audio as of November 7, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no meaningful price history to compare against.

Questions and answers

What does a 220-degree fisheye actually look like?
It captures a full circular image with heavy barrel distortion, so straight lines curve and the frame edges wrap around. It suits skate, music and travel shots more than portraits or landscapes.
Will it fit my phone?
The included clip fits most flat-backed phones, and the 17mm thread screws into NEEWER phone cages. Very thick cases or large camera bumps can make the clip sit unevenly.
Does it work with non-NEEWER cages?
Any cage or adapter with a standard 17mm thread should accept it. Check the thread size before buying.
Is $50.07 a good price?
Only one store lists it new at $50.07 as of November 7, 2026, so there is little price history to judge against. Comparable clip-on fisheye lenses usually sell in the $30 to $70 range.
What is in the box?
The lens and a lens clip. No case, cleaning cloth or adapter rings are listed.
Does it affect image quality?
The optical glass and coatings help control flare, but phone sensors still lose some sharpness at the edges of the circle. Expect softer corners than the center.
Where is the NEEWER LS-29 PRO 8mm Phone Fisheye Lens with Lens Clip cheapest?
At B&H Photo-Video-Audio, for $50.07, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the NEEWER LS-29 PRO 8mm Phone Fisheye Lens with Lens Clip?
Rated 5 out of 5 from 9 ratings.
